“And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” Revelation 12:11

MICHAELA DAWN KIRK

For the past 14 years, my life has been a relentless pursuit of truth and transformation through walking with Yeshua, the Messiah. Though I’ve known the Lord my entire life, my journey has taken me from deep personal brokenness to renewed hope and purpose. Raised in a God-fearing family of faith, I was introduced to the Holy Spirit early on through a school called Agape, where a woman instructed us in God’s ways by His Spirit. However, my path soon diverged, leading me into difficult places—young motherhood, abuse, and entrapment in the world. It was my father’s unwavering prayers and love, driven by God’s command to simply “love me,” that became a beacon in my darkest hours.

Though I kept a small place for Jesus in my heart, it wasn’t until around age 28 that I began desperately seeking Him again. In this season of my life, I was blessed with two daughters—Noriyah Mercy (“The Light of the Lord”) and Mayzie Grace, whose names embody God’s mercy and grace that have followed me through life. As I sought the Lord with new intensity, He became real to me once again, filling me with His love and transforming my heart. In 2017, I had a profound face-to-face encounter with Him that brought a mandate to bring His love to others.

Serving as a CNA for 14 years allowed me to bridge the gap between life and death for others, and it showed me how God’s love could work through me. Then, four years ago in 2020, I felt a deeper calling to pursue Him with everything I had, setting out to climb “Mount Zion” with clean hands and a pure heart. This journey led me to Texas and later to Florida, where my brother and I found ourselves homeless yet clinging to the Lord in worship and outreach. Though our family misunderstood and even rejected us for a time, we continued ministering to those in need, worshiping through our struggles, and leaning entirely on God’s provision.

God’s leading eventually brought us back to Nebraska and to our family who had once rejected us. After many trials, we found a place of worship and belonging in Greenwood, NE where we live in a Kingdom family that supports our mission. This place has been a sanctuary for my soul, allowing me to focus on God’s calling: to share His love and truth with the world. My mission is to unlock the potential for Christ within each person I meet, sharing the love and grace that has transformed my life.
